From a single weld repair to a full overhaul
Our people are qualified across several trades, so a job rarely has to be split between different contractors.
- Welding and construction Welding, cutting, gouging and fitting in steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Construction work and repairs by qualified welders.
- Ship repair Repair and maintenance of vessels and pontoons — alongside, in dock, or on board during the voyage.
- Crane repair and overhaul Maintenance, repair and overhaul of harbour cranes and grabs. Mechanical work we have specialised in for years.
- Piping, pumps and fittings Fabrication, modification and repair of pipework, pumps and fittings, including replacing and aligning pumps.
- Seafastening Securing deck cargo for sea transport. A regular part of our work, carried out by crews with experience in it.
- Maintenance and breakdown service Planned maintenance and unplanned breakdowns. We are reachable 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

MEN Techniek started in Rotterdam in 2009 as a family business. Today we work with a permanent core of our own tradesmen, backed by a fixed group of subcontractors we have known for years. That lets us scale up when a job calls for it, without strangers turning up on your site.
As a family business we value reliability, speed of service and above all taking our clients' worries off their hands. Or, as we say in Rotterdam: actions speak louder than words.

- VCA Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors. Our staff hold at least a VCA certificate.
- ISO 9001 Quality management system, certified by DNV-GL.
- NEN 3834-2 Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials.
- Certified welders Welder qualifications per process, renewed periodically.
- NDT on request Inspection and reporting arranged by us, carried out by a certified inspection company we work with regularly.
- Metaalunie terms All our quotations, orders and deliveries are subject to the Metaalunie terms and conditions.
